This is solid wood and well constructed. There's plenty of space for hanging items such as necklaces. While there is no handle to open the door, there is a slot hidden in the frame to grab. My wife commented that the lock could be on the side so it is not so obvious it is a jewelry cabinet. [...] It was easy to install, although it takes two people. It would be nice if the manufacturer included a template for the mounting holes. We made one with the packing styrofoam to ensure we hit a wall stud.The cabinet looks great on the wall, handles all my wife's jewelry and blends in with the decor. All and all a good deal.

I have only good things to say about this product. I was very impressed when I opened the box. Not only is it beautiful, but very simple to install with two people. It is heavy, so a small woman wouldn't be able to hang it alone.
It holds a load of necklaces and earrings. I might have liked a drawer for bracelets or pins. The lock is a nice feature. It is not only a useful item for holding jewelry, but decorative also with the wood finish and full length mirror.
I would recommend this product to anyone.

I was disappointed in the craftsmanship of the product. The lock is not centered on the door trim, which may or may not be necessary; but it does make it look like an add on...and one which was done incorrectly.[...]

The biggest drawback is that there is no way to store stud earrings or pins. I attached cork board to the entire inside of the door and it works great! As others have commented, it is great to now be able to see all of my jewelry - I'm using it more than in the past just because I know what is there.

The construction was typical for a Chinese made product. The lock was not centered, the wood had been repaired with wood filler. The liner was cheap. Fortunately my husband knows something about hanging pictures and mirrors because the mounting furnished method of hanging the box would have never worked. My husband mounted the box with metal molly bolts, the plastic that was provided would have never held.

It's perfect, exactly what the doctor ordered. I can see everything, it's all organized and in sight. Only minor drawback: Needs more space for earrings/studs. Can easily be adapted with a small screen between hoop earring holder and hooks on door side. Not a bother. Worth every penny and beautiful, too.

Finally, I have most of my jewelry organized and visable in one location. Makes coordinating much easier. One negative is that the ring section is not deep enough to hold wide band rings. Instead I insert long decorative pin and hang hoop earrings.
